POND HOUSE
This lake house in the Berkshires reflects the surrounding New England vernacular, while using light and form to create modern, playful spaces. Intersecting gabled roofs create interior hips and open corners with an expanse of glass to the view beyond. The design is simple, clean, and direct.
Innovative design solutions balance the need for public and private experiences with sliding doors that close-off rooms and entire levels for energy efficiency and multi-generational use.
